Nomadic Foundation was founded in 2023 and builds directly on the important work of Nomadic Press, a national award-winning small press that was headquartered in Oakland, California, and operated from 2011–2023.

Mission:

Nomadic Foundation’s three main areas of focus are:

1. Localized and inter/national literary grant and award administration

2. Creation and management of inter/national funds to support marginalized writers

3. Fiscal sponsorship for literary projects or people
