50 Degrees, Cold and Cloudy

Truly these are troubled times
When the nearest one can get to one’s brethren
Is a ten-foot pole’s length,
And the most one can talk about
With one’s nearest neighbor
Is the goddamn weather.

  2. love it. :D

to put so simply the nature of humanity, the way we are so scared to reveal ourselves to fellow human beings that we end up dredging up subjects, like weather, that mean nothing and are merely there to protect us from our own insecurity.
